Random Song of the Week...

This song is called "There is a Way" by Newworldson... I love it

You say love is just a word,
just four letters in a row.
Just a thing that people say,
or they never tell you so.
And you use every excuse, to let nobody in.
Now this cloud you bring around, has become your only friend.
And everybody saying that it's going to go away,
But it don't go.
And everybody's telling you one day it's going to change,
But you don't know.
If it's really going to end.

Chorus:
But there is a way,
There is a spark,
There is a hope that you can hold on to.
There is a life line come to the rescue,
Just like a hand that's waiting for you.
And if you believe in this I promise that you won't be alone.
There is a way, the truth and the life, and the way.

What if love became a man, If the word had flesh and bone.
Would you recognize his face, If he came to bring you home?
You think you're all alone, Gotta do it on your own riding solo.
Is there someone you can call when you stumble and fall? Cause you don't know, If you'll be getting up again.

Back to Chorus

Don't you think your life's worth saving? Don't you know that love's amazing?
Don't you want to lay your troubles down?
Lay them down.
If I thought love was just a word,
I might feel the same way too.
But theres so much more than that,
And it's waiting here for you.

Back to Chorus.

There is a way,
There is a way!
There is a way.
Come on, there is a way.
There is a way,
There is a way, truth and the life, and the way.

Well...

Well I didn't blog for Monday. I don't think a lot happened yesterday. I went to school and came home. I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and hot chocolate with marshmellows for dinner. That's how things roll around here.

Tuesday

This picture is too funny. Today in AVID, Nick drew a little dude and then his hands on my finger. I think it's hilarious.
Today is also the Winter Band Concert. I get to play my steel drums. I'm playing Island Paradise and Jamaica Farewell. Wish me luck!

RAVENS!!!

Sunday, my churches Youth group went to the Colts/Ravens game. It was a great experience. It was extra cold and I had to wake up extra early. But I was excited. We got free tickets and it wasn't suppose to go at first. But IT WAS AWESOME. The Ravens ended up winning 24-10. Defense was on point! We're 10-3.

7x70

There's this song called 7x70 by Chris August...I love it...It decribes how I've been feeling lately

I’ve been living in this house here
Since the day that I was born
These walls have seen me happy
But most of all they’ve seen me torn
They’ve heard the screaming matches
That made a family fall apart
They’ve had a front row seat
To the breaking of my heart

7 times 70 times
I’ll do what it takes to make it right
I thought the pain was here to stay
But forgiveness made a way
7 times 70 times
There’s healing in the air tonight
I’m reaching up to pull it down
Gonna wrap it all around

I remember running down the hallway
Playing hide-and-seek
I didn’t know that I was searching
For someone to notice me
I felt alone and undiscovered
And old enough to understand
Just when I’m supposed to be learning to love you
Let me doubt again

7 times 70 times
I’ll do what it takes to make it right
I thought the pain was here to stay
But forgiveness made a way
7 times 70 times
There’s healing in the air tonight
I’m reaching up to pull it down
Gonna wrap it all around

I lost count of the ways you let me down
But no matter how many times you weren’t around
I’m all right now

God picked up my heart and helped me through
And shined a light on the one thing left to do
And that’s forgive you
I forgive you

7 times 70 times
If that’s the cost I’ll pay the price
7 times 70 times
I’ll do what it takes to make it right
I thought the pain was here to stay
But forgiveness made a way

7 times 70 times
There’s healing in this house tonight
I’m reaching up to pull it down
Gonna wrap it all around
Yeah
I’m gonna wrap it all around

I’ve been living in this house here
Since the day that I was born

John 19:30!!!

Well I finally finished my college essay. Now all I have to do is give it to Dona or Carney evaluate. It's titled, From Unbelief to a Well-Known Reality. But yeah. I would post it but it's a wee bit personal. And I don't want it read until it is perfect. All I have to do is type it up. But at least now I can say like Jesus when he was about to release His spirit over to God, "IT IS FINISHED!"

Junior Achievement

Today we went to BizTown For Junior Achievement. I wish more of us could have went. But I had a good time nonetheless. I worked in the Baltimore Business Journal Newspaper. We started off really well but toward the end those kids got a little rowdy.
