Sunday BOY!!!
Well today was a good day. Today our youth and young adult ministry spoke about the 7 Deadly Sins. These include gluttony, envy, pride (vanity), lust, sloth, greed (avarice), and wrath. Mine was ENVY! With these sins came the Heavenly Virtues, which include temperance, kindness, humility, chastity, diligence, prudence, and patience. I feel like we did an awesome job, even though I missed like half of my notes.
And then my Ravens did what they do. You know when you get embarrassed on a prime time Monday Night game, you have to come back strong. They started off weak, 24-3 actually. Ray Rice had 3 TDs. Anquan Boldin got busy with 145 yds receiving. And Flacco ignored the hype and was 31/51 for 336 yds passing. And finally, Billy Cundiff delivered the game winning field goal with 3 seconds left in the game. We won 30-27. I don't care how we won, as long as we did. OFF to Spittsburgh (I mean Pittsburgh) next week... This is gonna be a thriller!

Kim Walker's Monologue...
This is a monologue/prayer that a woman named Kim Walker had during a live version of the song "How He Loves Us". God told me to write it down manually and then type it up. I'm not sure for what reason but God works in mysterious ways and I'm just following orders.
His presence, His love is so thick and tangible in this room tonight. And there are some of you here that have not encountered the love of God. And tonight God wants to encounter you; and wants you to His love, His amazing love. Without it, these are just songs, these are just words, these are just instruments; without the love of God, it's just like we're just up here just making noise. But the love of God changes us, and we're never the same, we're never the same after we encounter the love of God. We're never the same after we encounter the love of God. And right now, if you haven't encountered the love of God, and you would know because you wouldn't be the same, you would never be the same again. And if you want to encounter the love of God right now, YOU BETTER JUST BRACE YOURSELF! BECAUSE HE'S ABOUT TO JUST BLOW IN THIS PLACE. And we're going to encounter the love of God right now. So God, I speak to all the hearts and I ask God that every heart be opened right now; every heart be opened, every spirit be opened up to, to You. And a love encounter, a love encounter from You tonight, a love encounter from You tonight.
You Know What Grinds My Gears...
You know what grinds my gears people, when hypocrites are mistaken for Christians. It annoys the crap out of me. They make Christians and Christianity look so horrible and it personally offends me and hurts my heart. This why so many people are so confused about God and how awesome He is. They don't understand that Christianity is NOT a religion. It's a lifestyle and a relationship. It is a life choice. We can't force our beliefs down non-believers throats, people don't learn that way. We also have to show the right ways for a Christian to live. We can't act the same as our peers. We can't be the same ones cussing and having sex just like everybody else. When you say you're a Christian, act like it; otherwise, you're a hypocrite. I don't like those type of people that show up to military funerals and protest that God hates militants or gay people. FIRST OF ALL, God doesn't anyone. It's not the person that he doesn't like, he just doesn't like certain things. So when I see that on the news saying that there are "Christians are doing stupid stuff it makes me sad because now it involves me. Like when I see on the news that pastors and popes are raping and molesting children, it's just like wow. They've turned hypocrisy into their religion. And I also don't like on movies where people are possessed with demons how when they always show a Catholic priest. Catholicism and Christianity are two different worlds anyway. Catholics praise Mary and different saints. Where in the Bible did Jesus say worship my mother? If on those movies the priest can't use the name of Jesus to command a demon to come out, I know its fake. God gave us the power of Jesus' name over any demonic force, so that's a done deal. You know what else I don't like is when people think all churches are the same. They think every pastor is after your money, or that all church people are hypocrites, or even when they think catching the Holy Spirit is always fake. I mean really? There is nothing fake about the Holy Spirit, he's actually talked to me a few times. Not all pastors are after your money. My uncle is my pastor and he'll tell you things straight-forward over the pulpit. He'll tell you that he was a preacher's kid that used to smoke pot and party all the time. He's not afraid to be transparent. Not all church people are hypocrites. HELLO LOOK AT ME! I'm not ashamed to say I'm still a virgin and I have a boyfriend. I've never cussed, smoked, or drank in my life for obvious reasons. I choose to be like this. I try to spread the love of God with people. I don't to them to experience the same hurt they've been going through. Well I'm done with my rant for today. And for all those REAL Christians out there, thank you.
Thursday Was a Nightmare...
Well that game against Chesapeake is one I want to forget. The refs were stupid, I basically got beat up in the goal, and we lost. I mean the last few seconds of the game was on my back in agonizing pain. The last two goals were off-sides and they didn't even call it. The ref didn't even stop the clock when I was injured on the ground because my elbow went into my hip as I tried to brace my fall. It absolutely sucked! I was crying and moaning on the bus and I was hobbling on my way to it. The score was 4-3 but it should have been 3-2. STUPID REFS! The deaf ref had better calls than the other guys. He just got on my nerves.

I'm Still Choosing
I'm still in the between stages of choosing my future location of education. I don't know where I'm going yet. I have started the application process for Washington College and York College; two places where I don't really want to go. I'm trying to narrow down between University of Hartford, William Paterson University, American University, and University of New Haven. This is so difficult for me because this all has to be done within 2 weeks. I'm stressing a little bit.
Oh, How He Loves Us...
This is a song that I absolutely love!
How He Loves Us: Sung by Many
He is jealous for me
Love's like a hurricane,
I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of
His wind and mercy
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory
and I realize just how beautiful You are and how great your affections are for me.
Oh, how He loves us so
Oh, how He loves us
How He loves us so.
(x2)
Yeah, He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves.
(x2)
We are His portion and
He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption
by the grace in His eyes
If grace is an ocean, we're all sinking
So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss and my heart turns
violently inside of my chest
I don't have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way
He loves us,
whoa, how He loves us
whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves
(x2)
Yeah, He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves.
Yeah, He loves us
He loves us
He loves us
He loves.
Yeah, He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us

Rock the Block
A few weeks ago, my sisters Amber and Alexx, my bestfriend Amber, and my "Big Brother" Jason, and I all went to this event called Rock The Block. It was an outdoor music event that had live music featuring Da Fisherman, Bride Dressed in Black, and B-FaceLess. I really enjoyed it. I was up the whole time listening to the music and jumping around. I got a few videos too. The music was very versatile too. They had rock, rap, and a mix of everything.

A Little Crisp...
Well Sunday was overly eventful. Well it always starts off with church. I worked in the back producing CD and DVD labels for that day and classes that we have there. I really enjoyed service. But then all went crazy once we got home.
Earlier that day, I put the lamb chops my mother had marinated in the oven. We only set it 125 degrees. But once we got home, they had charred a bit. I don't want to say burnt. Then, while my sister was making mac n' cheese, her cheese sauce overflowed the pot and it got all over the burner. We were just like UGH really! Then after that, we were afraid to make anything else, like the cornbread and then the apple pie.
But then to wrap it all up, the Jets @ the Ravens. This game was defensively INCREDIBLE! The Ravens smashed 34-17. We didn't even allow an offensive touchdown. One came off a kickoff return and the other one was a Pick-6. Crazy type of game. We scored one TD on offense and the defense scored 3 TDs. Ray Rice got a 3-yard TD, Ed Reed got a sack-fumble and was recovered by Jameel McClain, Haloti Ngata got a sack-fumble and was recovered by Jarrett Johnson, and Lardarius Webb got a Pick-6. I love my Ravens...

The Saturday Story
Well since I only had 2 hours of actual sleep, I was extremely sleepy. I got up at 7:30 to go to a women's luncheon for my grandmother. She was being honored for being in the ministry faithfully for an elongated period of time. I was all dressed up; I had a business suit on (-_-). Everyone said I looked nice but I wasn't digging it. So much happened that day that I don't even know if I can tell everybody. The prayer was so intense. I found out so much about my family and how forgiveness is so powerful. But on another note, the food there was soooooo good. It was at Turf Valley Resort. There was a breakfast buffet! I love food personally and I got really excited. Once the actual ceremony and service was over, they was a vendor selling handmade pies. Oh my gosh. I got a slice of sweet potato pie.
Later, I convinced my mother to take me and my sisters to see "Lion King " in 3D. I love that movie. It's my favorite one of all time, Disney or non-Disney. I was the first one in the theater, 50 minutes before it started. We were singing every song and saying every line that we remembered. We also made multiple Biblical references to it. We got the stories of Cain and Abel, Moses, the Prodigal's Son, and Jesus. We also made the connection of Simba being a person not living up to obligation. He wasn't doing anything wrong per-say while he was out in the world but he wasn't living up to the will of his father. And lastly, we referred Scar to how Satan tries to fool you and to remind you of your past, even though all is forgiven. And also when Scar tried to mix the pride with the hyenas is like mixing all things Godly with the secular; they just can't operate properly. I just love THE LION KING!!!

Gotta Get Down On Friday...
