Thursday Was a Nightmare...

Well that game against Chesapeake is one I want to forget. The refs were stupid, I basically got beat up in the goal, and we lost. I mean the last few seconds of the game was on my back in agonizing pain. The last two goals were off-sides and they didn't even call it. The ref didn't even stop the clock when I was injured on the ground because my elbow went into my hip as I tried to brace my fall. It absolutely sucked! I was crying and moaning on the bus and I was hobbling on my way to it. The score was 4-3 but it should have been 3-2. STUPID REFS! The deaf ref had better calls than the other guys. He just got on my nerves.

I'm Still Choosing

I'm still in the between stages of choosing my future location of education. I don't know where I'm going yet. I have started the application process for Washington College and York College; two places where I don't really want to go. I'm trying to narrow down between University of Hartford, William Paterson University, American University, and University of New Haven. This is so difficult for me because this all has to be done within 2 weeks. I'm stressing a little bit.

Oh, How He Loves Us...

This is a song that I absolutely love!
How He Loves Us: Sung by Many

He is jealous for me
Love's like a hurricane,
I am a tree
Bending beneath the weight of
His wind and mercy
When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory
and I realize just how beautiful You are and how great your affections are for me.

Oh, how He loves us so
Oh, how He loves us
How He loves us so.
(x2)

Yeah, He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves.
(x2)

We are His portion and
He is our prize,
Drawn to redemption
by the grace in His eyes
If grace is an ocean, we're all sinking
So heaven meets earth like a sloppy wet kiss and my heart turns
violently inside of my chest
I don't have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way

He loves us,
whoa, how He loves us
whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves
(x2)

Yeah, He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves.

Yeah, He loves us
He loves us
He loves us
He loves.

Yeah, He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves

He loves us,
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves us
Whoa, how He loves

Rock the Block

A few weeks ago, my sisters Amber and Alexx, my bestfriend Amber, and my "Big Brother" Jason, and I all went to this event called Rock The Block. It was an outdoor music event that had live music featuring Da Fisherman, Bride Dressed in Black, and B-FaceLess. I really enjoyed it. I was up the whole time listening to the music and jumping around. I got a few videos too. The music was very versatile too. They had rock, rap, and a mix of everything.

A Little Crisp...

Well Sunday was overly eventful. Well it always starts off with church. I worked in the back producing CD and DVD labels for that day and classes that we have there. I really enjoyed service. But then all went crazy once we got home.
Earlier that day, I put the lamb chops my mother had marinated in the oven. We only set it 125 degrees. But once we got home, they had charred a bit. I don't want to say burnt. Then, while my sister was making mac n' cheese, her cheese sauce overflowed the pot and it got all over the burner. We were just like UGH really! Then after that, we were afraid to make anything else, like the cornbread and then the apple pie.
But then to wrap it all up, the Jets @ the Ravens. This game was defensively INCREDIBLE! The Ravens smashed 34-17. We didn't even allow an offensive touchdown. One came off a kickoff return and the other one was a Pick-6. Crazy type of game. We scored one TD on offense and the defense scored 3 TDs. Ray Rice got a 3-yard TD, Ed Reed got a sack-fumble and was recovered by Jameel McClain, Haloti Ngata got a sack-fumble and was recovered by Jarrett Johnson, and Lardarius Webb got a Pick-6. I love my Ravens...

The Saturday Story

Well since I only had 2 hours of actual sleep, I was extremely sleepy. I got up at 7:30 to go to a women's luncheon for my grandmother. She was being honored for being in the ministry faithfully for an elongated period of time. I was all dressed up; I had a business suit on (-_-). Everyone said I looked nice but I wasn't digging it. So much happened that day that I don't even know if I can tell everybody. The prayer was so intense. I found out so much about my family and how forgiveness is so powerful. But on another note, the food there was soooooo good. It was at Turf Valley Resort. There was a breakfast buffet! I love food personally and I got really excited. Once the actual ceremony and service was over, they was a vendor selling handmade pies. Oh my gosh. I got a slice of sweet potato pie.

Later, I convinced my mother to take me and my sisters to see "Lion King " in 3D. I love that movie. It's my favorite one of all time, Disney or non-Disney. I was the first one in the theater, 50 minutes before it started. We were singing every song and saying every line that we remembered. We also made multiple Biblical references to it. We got the stories of Cain and Abel, Moses, the Prodigal's Son, and Jesus. We also made the connection of Simba being a person not living up to obligation. He wasn't doing anything wrong per-say while he was out in the world but he wasn't living up to the will of his father. And lastly, we referred Scar to how Satan tries to fool you and to remind you of your past, even though all is forgiven. And also when Scar tried to mix the pride with the hyenas is like mixing all things Godly with the secular; they just can't operate properly. I just love THE LION KING!!!

Gotta Get Down On Friday...

I saw this when I was on the bus stop
On Friday, it started off so weird, but in a good way. First of all I had a game @ Parkville that I honestly didn't want to play. I really thought we were going to lose. We ended up winning 4-3 with a 4-1 lead at halftime. After that, my mother picked me up and we went to McDonald's and I got a Southern Style Chicken Sandwich meal. We went home and I showered and watch the missing episode of "The Office" that I had missed the night before. Then we all went to The Cave; it was my mom's first time going. The theme this week was "Orange You Glad..." Everyone wore orange and they were even giving out oranges and stuff. It was fun. I got a chance to clear my head from several things I had gone through that previous week. The speaker that night go to me and I broke down. I cried and I prayed, and then did that some more. After all the worship and prayer was over, a rock band called One Eighty Out from Pennsylvania performed. It was tooooooo  LIVE!!! My mom, 2 of my sisters, Amber and Alexx, my bestfriend Amber, my boyfriend Tyrell, my "Big Brother" Jason, my friend Manny, my godmother Monica, and godsister Morgan all were there. It was very exciting. Then afterwards, my bestfriend, my boyfriend, and my big brother came over and had a movie night. We all ended up falling asleep on the couch and they didn't leave until like 5:30 am. I was knocked out...
