About a year ago, our old washing machine stopped working. It was crazy because it just so happened that we were going to Ocean City the next day. So we drove to our friend’s condo that lives near us to wash the essentials. But after we came back from Ocean City, our washer was still broken. So we had to make a rash decision to go to the Sudsville up on Franklin. It looked so nice and I smelled an aroma of fabric softener. The place was huge, and it was clean. We would go there just about every week until we got a new washer. I never really had been to a laundry mat before so I didn’t know what to expect. It would always be my mother, my sisters, Alexx and Amber, and I going to what we called the “Sudsville Party”. My first time going my mom let me have some money to get a snack from the vending machine. I got a 20oz bottle of pink lemonade and some Granny Smith peanut butter cookies. When I opened it, it exploded on me. I didn't even know pink lemonade could do that. I quite enjoyed myself. We were playing with all those quarters and taking pictures. After a while, I grew very fond of that place. Now we have a new washer that “sings” to us. But boy do I miss those Sudsville parties.
